Connection Credit
Use your textbook, Chapters 20-23, to look for key terms, concepts, ideas, events, or people.
- Go to Google News or other news site, enter the term and see what articles come up. Click on a few that look promising but if you hit a dead end try another term or name.
- Complete the connection credit worksheet.
- Choose two to write about. (Only one Steve Jobs/Apple connection, please.)
- Both connection credits are due next class.

Politics
Use the internet to help you fill out the Democrats vs. Republican worksheet. Besides the organizer and questions on the back, look up these two movements and spend a few minutes reading about them.
TPM - Tea Party movement. Not the original Boston Tea Party, but the modern movement.
OWS - Occupy Wall Street
Then place them on the organizer. Where do you think they go?
Does either one appeal to you on any level? What do you like/not like about them?
